Reading
FractureCode Corporation has a team of vision technology experts that have developed a custom-made system, using industry standard components to read each code quickly and efficiently.
Once a FractureCode is placed in front of a camera the reading process is as follows:
1. The image is converted into a unique digital "fingerprint".
2. The image is processed to reduce "noise" and improve definition.
3. The reference points for positioning and orientation purposes are located.
4. The FractureCode lines are identified.
5. The complete image is stored and now considered active.
The reading process is triggered by the code itself, so there is no reliance on codes being placed at fixed distances and an ultra-high speed strobe unit works in conjunction with the camera to ensure code images are always clear.
