Issue date: 01.03.07
Innovative track & trace solution provider FractureCode Corporation has announced a number of Senior Management changes, including the appointment of a new Managing Director, following the acceleration of its commercial development into new technologies, products and services.
Jacob Götzsche becomes FractureCode’s new Managing Director, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Copenhagen. Jacob joins FractureCode Corporation from ISS Management A/S, where he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Accounts and prior to this he spent 15 years in senior sales & marketing roles in the IT industry, including IBS, Hewlett Packard and Compaq.
This appointment is seen as a natural progression for the company as it continues to expand, giving it added focus in achieving further contracts for the products & services developed so far and in identifying opportunities for further developing the FractureCode business.
This new structure means that Jacob Rasmussen, co-inventor of the patented technology and Managing Director during the start-up phase, has taken up the new position of Technology & Development Director, allowing him to devote more of his time and energies to the important area of technology and innovation. Jacob Rasmussen remains a shareholder and Board member and will continue to play a key role in the development of the overall Company strategy. He will also be responsible for all aspects of the company’s technical developments in software, hardware and the operational support of customers.
Stephen Pinchen, the other co-inventor will remain a key member of the FractureCode Board, but will now devote more of his time addressing the critical strategic market developments for the Coated & Security Products line of business of parent company Filtrona plc (which includes FractureCode Corporation).
